Longitude, haiku ACEO

This is an original, one-of-a-kind mixed-media collage ACEO ("Art Card, Edition and Original").

Metallic, interference, pearlescent, and iridescent acrylic; metallic pigment; iridescent medium; gloss varnish; and cut paper on 140 lb Canson watercolor paper.

Bright blue handmade paper with metallic gold leaf design is adhered to the back of the card (each back is quite different). The back is initialed and dated by the artist.

3.5 x 2.5 inches
(standard ACEO size) with rounded corners.

The cut-paper haiku reads:

needle pointed east
to plot the variation
change of longitude,

finding longitude,
the stuff that dreams were made of
the moon's eclipses.
