This is an original, one-of-a-kind mixed-media collage ACEO ("Art Card, Edition and Original"). Pen & ink; colored pencil; paper; metallic, interference, pearlescent, and iridescent acrylic; metallic pigment; iridescent medium; and gloss varnish on 140 lb Canson watercolor paper.
The hummingbird was drawn on 90 lb Canson "Classic Cream" drawing paper, then cut out and collaged to the painted card.
Bright blue paper with metallic gold leaf design is adhered to the back of the card; the back is initialed and dated by the artist.
3.5 x 2.5 inches (standard ACEO size) with rounded corners.
This was created for the Etsy Creative Challenge #41, which was to use the color "cappucino" from a specific color chart, as well as one or more colors from the same chart.
This ACEO is being donated to the Etsy VAST ACEO album project, which will be an album of numerous ACEOs by Etsy artists, to be auctioned off with proceeds going to a charity to benefit animals.
