Media: pen & ink, acrylic, colored pencil, and metallic iridescent medium on 140 lb Canson watercolor paper.
Size: image area 4 x 4 inches, plus a 2 inch border; total sheet size 8 x 8 inches.
The moon is painted in "unbleached titanium" acrylic, with a top coat of iridescent acrylic medium. In person, the moon is bright and clear, with a light metallic iridescent sheen. Unfortunately, the scanner picks up the metallic particles in the medium and renders them a slightly dingy gray, so the images are not representative of the delicacy of the original.
