haiku bird's first foray into the world of miniatures and miniature paintings
This is an original, handmade work, and one of a kind. The painting is crafted of archival and acid free materials: pen & ink and acrylic on 100 lb vellum-finish Strathmore bristol board. The painting is finished with a protective acrylic matte varnish. It is affixed to the frame with ph-neutral solvent-free PVA. The frame is 2-3/8" tall by 2-7/8" wide. The painting is 1-7/8" tall by 2-3/8" wide. The frame is metal, with raised floral decoration, finished in gold, and considered a 1/12th scale miniature.
